We believe that men in scripture become men of action. This is why we want men to grow in their relationship with God, with His word, and with other brothers in Christ.
GROW is a framework for men’s discipleship that emphasizes men working as a crew to support, encourage, challenge, and grow one another. A crew of guys with a will to meet regularly and put their minds to knowing God is how we work out the wisdom God gives.
GROW takes its inspiration from Romans 12 to give men defined actions to take:
Give God your body, mind, and will (Romans 12:1-2)
Repeat what is good (Romans 12:9-13)
Overcome with grace and mercy (Romans 12:14-21)
Work out your gifts with your brothers (Romans 12:3-8)
GROW uses paths to bring together scripture and resources for an expansive study. Each GROW Path is similar - 2 studies focused on scripture and 2 studies focused on books by trusted Christian teachers. Some of these GROW Paths include:
The Word Became Flesh: This path is designed for men to grow in their love for God and build a greater courage from His word and truth. Includes study in John, Hebrews.
Basic Training: This path is designed for men to get more familiar with core concepts of the Christian faith and grow in the knowledge of the saving grace of the Gospel to do battle in this world. Includes study in Acts, 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus.
Be Prepared: This path is designed to build confidence and courage for times of trial and learn how to defend your faith. Includes study in 1 & 2 Peter, Genesis 37-50 (The Story of Joseph).
