God makes himself known through His Word. Paul wrote to Timothy,

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
— 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Paul is telling Timothy that the Bible is inspired by God and sufficient to make and prepare us into the people God He calls us to be.

F-260 Bible Reading Plans

1-Year Bible Reading Plan

260 Day Old & New Testament Plan

Español | Français

Who is this plan designed for?

D-groups, First Time Bible Readers, and Families with Children (Kids and Teens).

Though this plan doesn’t cover every chapter of every book of the Bible, it does walk readers through all 66 books highlighting the foundational passages of Scripture that every disciple should know. We recommend this to families and groups because this plan has workbooks, that provide age-specific readings, devotions, and exercises for adults, teens, and kids.

This plan is also for the person who has never made their way through the entire Bible or families with children in our church who desire to have a unified family reading plan.

How does it work?

The plan expects you to read 1 or 2 chapters a day for 5 days each week, with an allowance for weekends off. The 2 off-days a week are built in so you may catch up on days where you’re unable to read In order to digest more of the Word.

Duration: One year | App: Accessible on YouVersion & OliveTree. Download the app.

As you read through the Bible with the F260 plan, there are several companion journals with additional insights for kids, teens, and adults. These “Foundations” journals are available to purchase online via the links above.

Meditation Bible Reading Plan
1-Year,
5-Day In-Depth Study of Matthew

God’s Word invites us not only to read, but to meditate on God’s words (Deut 6:4-9; Psalm 1:2; Psalm 119:15).  To do so means to slow down, savor, wring out, and soak up every single passage of God’s Word.

Who is this plan designed for?

This plan is for the person who wants to slowly engage and meditate on God’s words in the Gospel of Matthew and the numerous Old Testament references proving that Christ is the long-awaited Messiah.

How does it work?

The plan expects believers to read a few verses a day for 5 days each week, with an allowance for deep dives. The 2 off-days a week are built in so you may digest more of the Word. The plan also allows for pausing during Holy Week and Advent.

2-Year Chronological Bible Reading Plan

Have you ever heard a Bible story and felt like you were missing something? Have you tried to make Bible reading a priority in your life but repeatedly fallen short of your goals? You are not alone.

Reading the Bible is oxygen for our souls, and although we know this to be true, we often fail to regularly be in God’s Word despite our best intentions. Like most areas of life, we plan to fail when we fail to plan, so we invite you to embark on a two-year journey through God’s redemptive story that will transform your heart and mind.

This Bible Reading Plan is:

  • Cover to Cover – Complete the Old and New Testaments once and Psalms and Proverbs twice

  • Chronological – Read through the Bible in the order the events occurred

  • Achievable – Two to three chapters per day, five days a week

  • 2-Years – Allows for catch-up days so you do not get behind and give up

  • Life-Changing – Nothing will accelerate your spiritual growth like the daily practice of being in God’s Word

To get the most out of your Bible study, we recommend you:

  • Select a regular time and place to read that is free of distractions • Pray and ask God to speak to you through your reading

  • Mark or highlight meaningful phrases or verses

What We Believe About the Bible

The Bible is God’s word to all men. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error.
