in Preschool
LifePoint Preschool is for kids Birth–Pre K

Why: To make visitors and members feel welcome with a warm greeting.
Frequency of Serving: Weekly during one worship service hour
Commitment: August to July
Additional Information: You will greet visitors and members as they arrive and direct them to where they need to go and assist with the check-in process of their children. For visitors with children, you will gather and enter family information into the Planning Center system and assist in getting children to their appropriate classrooms/locations.

Why: To foster a warm and engaging environment for preschoolers to begin building a foundation of faith and a love for Jesus.
Frequency of Serving: One service; weekly
Commitment: August thru July
Preparation during the week: Study bible stories and look over weekly activities to be prepared to lead on a Sunday morning.

Why: To create a joyful and engaging worship experience through songs, bible stories, and scripture memorization.

Why: Partner with kids with identified special needs or needing additional support. This could be in our Connection Crew Room or integrated with their peers.

Additional Information: Extra events throughout the year are available and help us to provide more opportunities for their families to connect at LifePoint.

in Kids
LifePoint Kids is for kids Kindergarten–5th Grade

Why: Plays a vital role in fostering spiritual growth, creating a safe environment, and facilitating meaningful connections with kids in your group.
Frequency of Serving: One service; weekly
Commitment: August through July
Preparation during the week: Study and prepare to lead discussions and activities during small group time. Pray for and check on the Kids in your group.

Why: Building a foundation where children can grow in their faith through an engaging environment of worship.

Commitment: August through July
Preparation during the week: Study and prepare to teach the bible story.

Additional Information: The tech person will be responsible for helping with all technical needs during large group worship. No experience is needed to do this position.

LifePoint Students is for kids 6th–12th Grade

Why: To make students and guests feel welcome with a warm greeting while helping students check in on Wednesday night.
Frequency of Serving: Weekly on Wednesday night
Commitment: Year-round, from August to August
Additional Information: You can work the check-in desk, greet students at doors, and make sure they have checked in.

Why: Facilitate conversation, develop relationships, and help students better understand the gospel at table groups on Wednesday nights.

Additional Information: Extra events such as Camp Whatever and LifePoint Student Conference are not required but are a great way to connect with students on a deeper level.

in Hospitality

Why: Be the first face of LifePoint as people walk in the building for worship on a Sunday morning. A simple wave to each person or family says, “Welcome! We’re Glad You’re Here!”

Why: To provide hospitality through setting up coffee for our church family and guests on Sunday mornings.

Serving Opportunities
in Worship

Why: Leading others in the freedom and fullness of worshiping Jesus through music and song, praising Him for His goodness and Grace.
Frequency of Serving: Sundays and other gatherings 1–4 Sundays per month

Additional Information: Auditions are required on any of the following: vocal, guitar, keys, bass, and drums.

in Production

Why: To technically serve the church as we worship Christ in our Sunday services and other gatherings. Serve with Audio, Video, Lighting, or Stage (Stage only available at the Smyrna Campus).
Frequency of Serving: 1-4 Sundays per month.
Commitment: January through December
Additional Information: There are opportunities to “tour” the Production Ministry and should you decide this would be an area you’d like to serve, a training in that position will be scheduled.

in Adults

Why: To connect visitors into the LifePoint community, develop relationships between existing members, and encourage spiritual growth.
Frequency of Serving: Twice a month.
Commitment: January through April
Preparation during the week: Review study material prior to meeting and contact members throughout the week.

Why: Women’s Ministry hosts several large group events each year where women can connect and grow spiritually.
Frequency of Serving: Monthly Events, such as ABIDE and yearly Women’s Conference

Additional Information: help with set up, clean up, serving food, decor, greeting guests, registration.

Serving Opportunities
in Sending

Why: As the Church, we are tasked with sending out, supporting, sustaining, and caring for the sent ones (missionaries) who are serving in the field. Use your God-given gifts and talents in any of the following areas to serve LifePoint Church’s Sent Ones:
• Prayer
• Advocacy
• Relationship & Encouragement
• Help care for Sent Ones family members in home countries
• Help with Send Offs (when they go to the field)
• Help with Receiving Gatherings (when they come back to report)
• Help with Sent Ones Re-entry process (when they come back to live)Frequency of Serving: Always, Weekly, As Needed
Commitment: One Year, from August to July
Additional Information: A Sent One Care Team Member is responsible for advocating the needs, struggles, and celebrating the successes of the Sent Ones alongside the Sending Team and the entire church. A Care Team Member is required to be a member of LifePoint Church.

LifePoint Food Pantry
Why: We have the opportunity to fulfill the Great Commission by sharing the Gospel while serving the broken, hurting, and hungry in our own community.
Frequency of Serving: Once a month
Commitment: One Year, from August to July
Additional Information: We have weekly opportunities from 1 to 6pm on Wednesdays and 4 to 6pm on Fridays at our Smyrna Campus food pantry to engage and distribute food boxes to people in need in our community. There is also an opportunity to pack these food boxes during staffed church hours Monday-Thursday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Weekend Backpacks
Why: Many children in our local schools go home over the weekend with Friday’s school lunch as their last meal until they come back on Monday morning. We as a church care about the suffering of the least of these and stand in the gap providing nutritious weekend meals.
Frequency of Serving: Once a month
Commitment: School year, from August to May
Additional Information: The children assisted by our church are chosen by the students' principals, teachers, and counselors. We buy the food, pack it, and deliver the backpack meals to the schools every third Thursday of the month.

Additional Information: Your own camera is not a requirement, but preferred. Available at each campus.

Why: Help capture the life happening in the ministries at LifePoint. Primarily helps capture baptisms.
Frequency of Serving: Once or Twice a Month on Sunday mornings. Periodic opportunities at additional ministry events.
Commitment: January through December
Additional Information: Your own camera is not a requirement. Available at each campus.

Why: Show people the life in Jesus that can be found at LifePoint, extend the care of LifePoint Church, and show people that we see them.

Additional Information: Only available for the Smyrna Campus, but attending the Smyrna Campus is not required.
