God’s Word invites us not only to read, but to meditate on God’s words (Deut 6:4-9; Psalm 1:2; Psalm 119:15). To do so means to slow down, savor, wring out, and soak up every single passage of God’s Word.
This plan is for the person who wants to slowly engage and meditate on God’s words in the Gospel of Matthew and the numerous Old Testament references proving that Christ is the long-awaited Messiah.
The plan expects believers to read a few verses a day for 5 days each week, with an allowance for deep dives. The 2 off-days a week are built in so you may digest more of the Word. The plan also allows for pausing during Holy Week and Advent.
