Have you ever heard a Bible story and felt like you were missing something? Have you tried to make Bible reading a priority in your life but repeatedly fallen short of your goals? You are not alone.
Reading the Bible is oxygen for our souls, and although we know this to be true, we often fail to regularly be in God’s Word despite our best intentions. Like most areas of life, we plan to fail when we fail to plan, so we invite you to embark on a two-year journey through God’s redemptive story that will transform your heart and mind.
This Bible Reading Plan is:
Cover to Cover – Complete the Old and New Testaments once and Psalms and Proverbs twice
Chronological – Read through the Bible in the order the events occurred
Achievable – Two to three chapters per day, five days a week
2-Years – Allows for catch-up days so you do not get behind and give up
Life-Changing – Nothing will accelerate your spiritual growth like the daily practice of being in God’s Word
To get the most out of your Bible study, we recommend you:
Select a regular time and place to read that is free of distractions • Pray and ask God to speak to you through your reading
Mark or highlight meaningful phrases or verses
Write down in a journal what God reveals to you as you read
