My House Worship Guide | Week of September 29, 2019

Day 1 

Read: Acts 1:1-11

Pray: 

  • Thank God for the obedience of the disciples to gather with Jesus and become His witnesses in all the earth.

  • Thank God for His gift of the Holy Spirit that enables us with all we need to faithfully proclaim the gospel among the nations.

  • Ask God to help our worship of Jesus compel us to go and be His witnesses to the ends of the earth.

Day 2 

Read: Acts 8:1-8

Pray: 

  • Thank God that He used the death of Stephen as a way to spread the gospel among the nations.

  • Thank God that the Gospel can and will spread even in the midst of persecution.

  • Ask God for boldness like that of the early church to take the gospel to the nations.

Day 3 

Read: Psalm 33:1-12

Pray:

  • Thank God for the great work that He has done and is doing in all the earth.

  • Thank God for His plan to make Himself known among the nations.

  • Ask God to help you obey His call for you to be a part of the world standing in awe of Him.
