LifePoint Institute will host a forum on LGBTQ issues.

Dr. Andrew T. Walker from Southern Seminary who wrote God and the Transgender Debate, will be leading two sessions followed by a Q & A on Saturday, January 29 from 9:00am–12:30pm at the Smyrna Campus.

Many of us know people who identify as LGBTQ, so it’s crucial that we understand deeply what the Bible has to say about these issues, as well as how we can lovingly engage with LGBTQ people.

Dr. Walker will help us understand what the Bible says about sexual and gender issues and how we as Christians should engage with those who are struggling with these issues. He has devoted much of his career and time addressing LGBT issues with compassion, clarity, and truth. We are confident that he will help us as we all navigate a world that is continually consumed with the sexual revolution. There will be an opportunity for a Q&A (anonymous text-in questions as well as live), which means that Dr. Walker will be able to address the specific needs/concerns of our church.
