Instructions: The purpose of these questions is to generate responses that are self-revealing and informative. Feel free to ask all of these questions to your group or simply choose the one that best fits your group.

  1. When was the last time you got knocked down in life?

  2. How did you get back up & on track again?

Into the Bible

Instructions: The purpose of these questions is to draw group members into the Bible to discover truth from passages that were not the primary text for the weekend message.

Read: Revelation 3:16

  1. How does this scripture compare to what we see happening today in the modern day “Christian church”?

  2. The state of our country & the entire world is affected by how hot or cold we are as Christians. How/Why?

  3. What do we need to do? How can we re-engage?

Application:

Instructions: The purpose of these questions is to apply the main points from the weekend message.

  1. What is the difference between sharing the Gospel & proclaiming the Gospel?

  2. Why is living a good life & setting an example for others, not enough?

  3. Be brutally honest with yourself. When was the last time you boldly proclaimed the Gospel?

  4. What skills are needed?

Challenge: This week, take some time to prepare the words you would start with. Think through what elements need to truly proclaim the Good news for the Gospel. If needed, get connected with a staff member or group leader for some quick preparation. THEN GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES!
