Week of June 2, 2019 My House Worship Guide

Day 1

Read: 2 Timothy 2:14–18

Pray:

  • Thank God for the good gift of His Word.

  • Ask God to help you rightly understand and handle His Word.

  • Pray for God to work in great ways in the lives of kids at VBS this week.

Sing: Great Are You Lord - My House Worship Sessions

Day 2

Read: 2 Timothy 3:10-17

Pray:

  • Thank God for the godly examples of people in the Bible of how we ought to live, even in spite their imperfections.

  • Thank God for how His Word provides a guide for us in how we ought to live and what we ought to believe.

  • Ask God to grow your confidence in His Word.

Sing: Great Are You Lord - My House Worship Sessions

Day 3

Read: Hebrews 4:11-13

Pray:

  • Thank God that His Word is alive and active and has been preserved over thousands of years.

  • Ask God to let His Word search your heart for what may need correction or rebuke.

  • Ask God to help you see your need for Him as you read His Word.
