LifePoint Riverdale Family,

On Monday of this week, I informed you of our need to suspend midweek activities. As time has progressed we have discovered that our volunteer bandwidth has been depleted and we are unable to conduct worship services at Riverdale campus this week to the high degree of excellence that you have come to expect from LifePoint.

Therefore, we are canceling in-person gatherings at Riverdale Campus this Sunday, September 27. In addition, we feel that this break will give our staff and volunteers time to fully recover so that you can be confident that LifePoint is a safe environment for you and your family. In regards to the status of our midweek programs like Women’s Bible Study and NextGen Ministries, we’ll reach out to you on Monday with more information.

I know this news is disappointing for some, but we want to take the necessary precautions to provide a safe environment that is staffed with volunteers and leaders who are able to provide excellent, Christ-exalting ministry to your families and our community.

I was told once that the most repeated commandment in the Bible is “fear not.” We choose not to make this decision by fear but wisdom from above and love for you.

I want to encourage you to worship online with us this week. You can connect with us via our YouTube channel or the LifePoint Smyrna Facebook page.

Your deacons will be connecting with you in the next few days to answer or take any of your questions. Stay tuned for those calls and feel free to discuss any concerns. If you’re not a member of LifePoint, feel free to reach out to Curt Wagoner (curt.wagoner@lifepointchurch.org) with your questions.

Peace to you,
Kyle Goen
