  1. How would you describe the Holy Spirit?

  2. What does He do?

Into the Bible

Instructions: The purpose of these questions is to draw group members into the Bible to discover truth from passages that were not the primary text for the weekend message.

Read:    John 14: 25-26

  1. What is Jesus saying here about the Holy Spirit?

  2. Why would Jesus send the Holy Spirit to teach us things He has already instructed us on?

Application:

Instructions: The purpose of these questions is to apply the main points from the weekend message.

  1. Jesus knew we would need special help to accomplish the Mission He had set forth for the fledgling Church that He had just planted. He sent the Holy Spirit! How do you see LifePoint relying on the Holy Spirit today?

  2. Some of the biggest criticism regarding Christians is that many of us do not act anything like Christ…While no one is perfect, how can we know the difference between a Christian who experiences a sinful slip-up, & a person who culturally claims Christianity but has not truly surrendered to Christ?

  3. In what ways can a true Christian seek guidance from the Holy Spirit on an individual/family level?

  4. What should be the end result of “SEEKING” the Holy Spirit?
