Sound the Alarm Project | Max Volunteers 30 | Family Service Opportunity
What is Sound the Alarm?
Sound the Alarm (STA) is a Red Cross' National Signature Event to install 100,000 smoke alarms in 40,000 homes across 100 major markets with a goal to save more lives. Sound the Alarm occurs each spring during the last weekend of April and first 2 weeks of May. At these events, Red Cross volunteers, along with fire departments, other partners and new volunteers will canvass high-risk neighborhoods, install free smoke alarms, replace batteries in existing alarms, provide home fire safety tips and help families create escape plans.
Their goal is to install 200 smoke alarms on April 27th in Smyrna, TN.
We hope that you and your life group will join us for our 2019 Signature Sound the Alarm Event!
