PURPOSE
The Student Ministry Administrative Assistant serves as an integral part of the LifePoint Student Ministry team by assisting with administrative, clerical, and organizational duties, while actively supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of weekly programming, events, and initiatives. This role helps ensure that the vision of LifePoint Students is carried out with excellence and consistency across campuses.
SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIP
Reports to Lead Student Minister
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Student Ministry Administration
Maintain accurate attendance records for Middle School and High School across campuses (specifically Smyrna/Creek).
Create and update rosters monthly; manage student additions/removals appropriately.
Keep student ministry folders, outing forms, calendars, and binders updated and organized.
Serve as a point of contact on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights for parents and guests regarding Student Ministry.
Events & Programming
Assist with planning, preparation, and execution of student ministry events (retreats, camp, crossover, etc.).
Purchase, organize, and manage event supplies and resources.
Coordinate with leaders and volunteers to ensure smooth execution of weekly programming and special events.
Support mission trips or service opportunities in collaboration with ministry leaders.
Communication & Media
Manage Student Ministry social media accounts with posts for events, weekly gatherings, and student engagement.
Submit and track design requests (graphics, flyers, shirts, etc.) and coordinate revisions with designers.
Draft and send communication to leaders, parents, and students as directed.
Respond to emails, calls, and inquiries within 24 hours, filtering questions to the appropriate staff.
Team Support
Take notes in meetings, distribute to team members, and follow up on action items.
Assist the NextGen Ministry Assistant and Student Ministry staffwith special projects.
Provide oversight and training opportunities for student leaders or interns serving in administrative roles.
Maintain a high level of excellence and support across all LifePoint campuses.
Fight to protect unity of LifePoint Church generally, Student team, and NextGen team.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum of one year of administrative or support role experience.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and social media platforms.
Experience in event planning and logistics.
Aptitude for quickly learning new systems.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to build, coordinate, and support volunteer teams.
A servant attitude with a demonstrated commitment to LifePoint’s mission and values.
PUBLIC CONTACT
Regular contact with LifePoint Students staff, leaders, students, and parents.
Collaboration with other LifePoint Church ministries and staffteams.
Occasional contact with vendors, guest leaders, and community partners.
