Intern at LifePoint Church

Thank you for your interest in the volunteer Internship Experience Program at LifePoint Church. We consider it a privilege that you desire to be a part of what God is doing through LifePoint Church around the world. Our goal is to help young leaders in developing their talents, calling, character, and competency by expanding the ministry of Jesus and LifePoint Church.

Our internship program gives leaders the opportunity to fulfill meaningful ministry tasks that serve all five LifePoint Church campuses. At LifePoint, interns are an important part of the team. You’ll be working on critical projects and gaining ministry and work experience through a variety of internships.

Who is the average applicant?

For part-time volunteer interns, our applicants are mostly college students but not limited only to college students who want vocational skill training in a ministry setting; part-time interns do not necessarily need to feel called to vocational ministry, but will be gaining skill training in a ministry setting.

What are the expected work hours and internship duration?

Interns are expected to work 1-10 hours a week in the department for which they are interning. The director over the intern’s department will be responsible for setting the work schedule. Depending on the need of the ministry, interns are asked to serve at least one semester up to one year.

Will I be paid as an intern?

No. We strongly believe that if God has called you to this program, He will provide the way for you. Interns are fully responsible to support themselves financially during the program.
