Operation Christmas Child

The mission of Operation Christmas child is to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Each year, LifePoint Church gives families the opportunity to take part in Operation Christmas Child. We have so much to be thankful for and are excited to partner with you to help teach your kids how to have giving hearts. This year, we want you and your family to enjoy the Seven Steps to a Thankful Heart family devotion. Use this resource to create a night of fun for the whole family as you bless others who are in crisis areas around the world. The Operation Christmas Child Resource gives instructions for packing your shoe box as well as other tips that set the stage for a great family night.

While supplies last, empty shoeboxes will be available for LifePoint families at the Kid’s Guest Service starting Mid-October. LifePoint families can drop off filled shoeboxes at their campuses Go Center during services in November. Each box costs $9 to ship. We will only accept boxes that have a check made out to Samaritan's Purse included.

LifePoint Church will be a shoebox drop off location for Rutherford County during the National Collection Week of November 12-19. Check back in September 2018 for a list of times we will collect the shoeboxes.

If you have other questions about OCC, please call the church office at 615-459-3311.
