Sermon Discussion Questions – Week of April 11, 2021

Get to know me:

Instructions: The purpose of these questions is to generate responses that are self-revealing and informative. Feel free to ask all of these questions to your group or simply choose the one that best fits your group.

  1. They say it’s always darkest before the dawn….How has that proven true in your life.

  2. There is a price paid in everything we do. Share a time when you paid a high price...was it worth it?

Into the Bible: Instructions: The purpose of these questions is to draw group members into the Bible to discover truth from passages that were not the primary text for the weekend message.

Read  Isaiah 54: 16-17

  1. Spiritual battle is tough because part of the battle is invisible. How does Isaiah give us peace in the midst of battle?

  2. From where does our strength come from & how does that work?

  3. What is the purpose of God including us in His fight & what is the result?

Application:

Instructions: The purpose of these questions is to apply the main points from the weekend message.

  1. Today in our study of Revelation11 we again reviste the idea that during the “Church Age” (The time from Christ’s death & resurrection until He returns.), there will be steadily escalating tribulations that someday will finally result in the End of this Age. How do you see God positioning you in this tribulation/warfare? For what use/purpose?

  2. How are we supposed to find peace in the midst of such horrible Tribulation?

  3. What if any, next steps, do you feel like God is calling you to?

  4. There is a price to be paid in every battle...In this case God has already paid the price and won the VICTORY! How should that embolden people to be light & salt in a dark world?
