Sermon Discussion Questions – Week of March 21, 2021

Get to know me:

Instructions: The purpose of these questions is to generate responses that are self-revealing and informative. Feel free to ask all of these questions to your group or simply choose the one that best fits your group.

How confident are you in your personal ability to “Win” at the things you engage in?

When everything is on the line, when it all comes down to a single moment, what motivates you to dig in? What helps you “stick” when things get hard?

Into the Bible: Instructions: The purpose of these questions is to draw group members into the Bible to discover truth from passages that were not the primary text for the weekend message.

Read John 15: 1-9

Today's Revelation 10 Sermon speaks of trusting God’s Sovereignty if you are His & experiencing God’s judgement if you are not. How does John 15 fit in with that?

What is the meaning of Vs 3 here? How can hearing the “Word” prune/cleanse us?

What should be the end result of being “grafted into the Vine?

Application:

Instructions: The purpose of these questions is to apply the main points from the weekend message.

When we Repent of our sins & Believe in Christ, we get “Grafted” into the Vine; we literally go from death to life in that moment...We accept God as Sovereign over our life. Next, the Holy Spirit begins the process of transforming our lives. How has the Holy Spirit used God's Word (The Bible), to transform your life?

In January our church rolled out the new Corporate Daily Bible Reading Program. As you have been engaging in that, what has your Papa been saying to you as you read along?

What are you doing about it? Do you have accountability partners helping you to grow?

God’s love for you personally is an unspeakable gift. One expression of that Love is His Holy Word the Bible. It gives us insight into literally everything we ever need to know. What are you doing, willing to do, or hope to grow to do….to share his Word?
