Get to know me:
Instructions: The purpose of these questions is to generate responses that are self-revealing and informative. Feel free to ask all of these questions to your group or simply choose the one that best fits your group.
Would you call yourself a “control freak”, easy going, or are you somewhere in the middle?
We can’t realistically put God in a box, but what are your personal views of where God might stand on that same scale?
Into the Bible:
Instructions: The purpose of these questions is to draw group members into the Bible to discover truth from passages that were not the primary text for the weekend message.
Read Matthew 28: 16-20
In light of Revelation 6; 1-8, why is the GREAT COMMISSION so important?
Application:
Instructions: The purpose of these questions is to apply the main points from the weekend message.
Revelation 6: 1-8 is something of a history lesson when read from the proper context. What does God’s “history lesson” teach us of His Judgment?
Jesus has Broken the Seven Seals, & it has caused a cycle of Judgment that is building in intensification as the Church Age marches on. How should God’s revealed Judgment cause us to look inward?
On a scale of 1-10….10 being super hot & 1 being ice cold….where would you rate yourself as a Christian? Where would God rate you?
In light of the Judgment all creation faces, what is the primary work would Jesus have you engage in?
How central has Christ's Great Commission command been in your life to date? Where would you grow or change how that looks right now?
