Respite Shelter:
The American Red Cross has
set up a Respite Shelter at the Highland Heights Church of Christ at
785 South Lowry Street. Food/drink and a place to rest will be provided
for those who have had flood-related property damage.
The Rutherford County Health Department
The Health Department will
provide free tetanus shots to citizens affected by the flood or helping
with clean up. Shots will be offered from 8 to 10 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.
Monday-Friday. Offices are located at 100 W. Burton Street in
Murfreesboro
(615-898-7880) and 108 David Collins Drive in Smyrna (615-355-6175).
